As a ministry program of 2nd Mile Missions, Vida Plena was created to help to empower women and their families to grow and succeed within the communities of El Hoyo and Monte Verde.
The majority of the women who are a part of Vida Plena have children attending a 2nd Mile Missions school.
2nd Mile Missions currently has two schools providing quality, Christian education for children in the Dominican Republic as well as House of Hope, a ministry designed to provide hope and healing to girls who have been abandoned and abused.
What began by educating 62 children in 2nd Mile Missions’ first year has grown into helping hundreds of children and their families thrive in a safe, supportive setting in their own community in the Dominican Republic.
